Not Idol

Aaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!

I just found out that auditions for Singapore Idol are in June! Damn! I am so not ready, which means I'll have to wait for Season 2, if I could ever be ready in the first place.

I watched last night's American Idol. They were showing Round 1 audition clips and I realised that I sound worse than some of those who didn't pass that first audition.

It's quite horrifying to think about that.

But the show was funny, too.

Hahaha!!!

Did you see that woman who got mad at Simon Cowell (one of the judges) for criticising her singing? She refused to believe him and insisted that people love her singing, so Simon made a bet with her: She will walk into a bar or restaurant and start singing. If at least half the patrons walk out because her singing sucks, she loses.

So the American Idol crew followed her to a restaurant and explained the bet, asking the patrons to participate honestly.

AND SHE LOST!

More than half the patrons walked out while she sang!!! Hahahahaha!!!!

*dies laughing*

I'm so evil. I shouldn't laugh at people because I might get laughed at next time. *smacks self*

K. I feel sorry for the woman. Poor thing! :(

Actually...

It was really very funny!! Hahahahaha! I can't help laughing! You should have seen it, oh man.

She must really hate William Hung cos HE got humiliated and HE got a record deal and SHE didn't!

Doesn't that make you wonder why some people seem to be so much luckier than others?

Well, I try not to think about that. Still on the topic of silver linings, I'm sure that woman will find hers some place else, another time. Besides, maybe William Hung is kinder than she is and managed to rack up some good karma in his lifetime by not killing ants.

Gawd, I hate sounding like an enlightened monk. Bleh.

That wasn't me. I'm evil and pessimistic! I eat Big Macs every day and blame McDonald's for making me fat!

Oh. OH. That reminds me. Wanna read something I made up nine years ago? I wrote it in my diary, dated May 9, 1995:

Humpty Dumpty ate a Big Mac,
Humpty Dumpty had a heart attack,
All the doctor's orders and
All the doctor's pleas
Couldn't make Humpty Dumpty
Stop his feeding frenzies!

Hahaha. So corny! I can't remember why I wrote that. It came out of some discussion I had with my friends about health or something, probably.

Anyways. You realise that today is exactly one month since I started this blog? I'm surprised that I get about a hundred hits a day! I was expecting more like a thousand! Ten thousand!!

Kidding! =P

I want to thank you all for reading and commenting regularly. Your comments make it fun! You validate my existence! Yay you!! Way to go!!!

*blows virtual kisses all around*
